This is our second Sunday in our new sermon series: ‘Parables of the Kingdom’.
This week, Bill is leading our worship and turning our attention to chapter 10 of Luke’s gospel, where we read the parable of the Good Samaritan. It’s one of the most well-known parables that Jesus gave, and there might be a tendency to switch off, because “we’ve heard it all before.” Well we haven’t.
God’s Word is fresh and new to us every day, and in our service on Sunday Bill will help us see things with new eyes, and perhaps understand just a little bit more about the ‘Love Revolution’ of the Kingdom of Heaven that Jesus came to bring in. The parable is challenging, inspiring and revolutionary in its message. Come and listen, because I guarantee that you haven’t heard it all before…
