During 2025 we are thinking about what it means to follow Jesus. For the Sundays from now until the beginning of Lent, each of our worship leaders is choosing someone who has inspired them in their faith and is going to tell us a part of their story. We shall hear some amazing and thought-provoking accounts of how men and women have followed Jesus over the years, and think about what that teaches us about our own journey of discipleship.
Linda is leading our worship this Sunday, and is uncovering some of the story of Ernest Gordon who was captured in World War II, and was part of a group of prisoners forced to construct the infamous railway in Burma.
Come along to learn about and be encouraged by someone who reluctantly followed Jesus in the most horrific circumstances.
