“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted” is the second beatitude that Jesus taught his followers in the sermon on the mount.
Today, we mourn the loss of Prince Philip and share in the nation’s sadness as we watch his funeral from a distance. But there is much more to mourning than the pain of losing a loved one. In a world full of injustice, where poverty is commonplace and where the created world is under threat, Mary helps us to discover that hope for the future can be found in Jesus.
Music is lead by our music group, and prayers are from our congregation.
