We’re continuing with our ‘What is Church?’ theme this week, as we consider what it means to be a church family. And just as different families have different habits and traditions, we’re going to be joining together in a slightly different way as we introduce Café Church to Wooler URC. So this Sunday we will be meeting in the Warm Hub, and coffee and other goodies will be served from 10.45, so make sure you come early to enjoy some refreshments and get settled before we start worship at our normal time of 11am.
We’re calling this style of service ‘Soul Café’, because as well as enjoying coffee together, we’ll be offering refreshment for our souls. All the familiar elements of worship will be included in our service, but we also hope that as we meet people on our Alpha Course and elsewhere that perhaps haven’t been to Church for a while, that Soul Café will prove to be an easy way to enter into church life – perhaps for the first time.
So do come along, and be part of that welcoming community that is ‘church’ at Wooler URC. Everyone is welcome, and we would really like you to share in that welcome.
(nb – unfortunately there will be no livestream this week due to the nature and location of the service, but you can always watch a recording of an earlier act of worship from our back catalogue – browse our YouTube channel here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJkhGfnb24D13S4NpZBoQRA)
