This Sunday we start our theme for the summer – ‘Postcards from Paul’. We’ll be taking some short, sharp snapshots from a few of Paul’s key messages. A bit like a postcard home from your travels, we’re not trying to go into every last detail about what’s going on, nor answer every question that Paul raises, but we will provide a brief insight into some of his most famous teachings. What are the gems that Paul reveals to his readers? What are the key bits of information that he wants to impart? Join us as we look at Paul’s ‘postcards home’ over the summer.
For our first week, Rev Louise Gee is visiting Wooler and opening God’s Word to us. Louise is a great friend of our church and regularly helps lead our Morning Prayers on Zoom. Up here for a few days from her home in Nottingham, Louise is looking at the message that Paul wrote to the Christians in Rome, reaffirming them in their faith, and reminding them (and us) that nothing can separate them from God’s love.
