Lots of us go on our travels in the summer! Over the next few weeks of holiday time we’ll be looking at some of the journeys that we read about in the Old Testament. We’ll hear about Jacob hurrying to Egypt to be reunited with his son Joseph, we’ll travel with Ruth and Naomi as they share companionship on the road, and like Jonah, we’ll learn that you can run, but you can’t hide!
This Sunday Linda starts us off by thinking about a different sort of journey, as Adam and Eve leave the Garden under something of a cloud. Is that the end of the road for them, or are they just beginning a journey into a new way of life out of Eden?
