We’re taking a break from our series on the parables of Jesus this week, as Fliss is introducing us to ‘Thy Kingdom Come’ – the global wave of prayer that challenges us to pray for our communities, our friends and our families, that they might come to know Jesus.
By the time we have our service on Sunday, Fliss, Kath and Jim will already have been out on Wooler High Street offering to pray with people – they’re doing that on Saturday morning, so please remember them in your prayers.
Joyce and the Christian Aid team will also have been hard at work serving Jesus in a different way. They’re running the coffee morning at 10am on Saturday in the Glendale Hall to raise money for Christian Aid, so drop in to see them (remembering to take our purse with you!)
So when we gather for worship on Sunday, we’ll be rejoicing in God’s love, but also caring in both practical and Spiritual ways for all His people. Do join us, and make a difference.
Everyone is welcome at Wooler URC.
