This Sunday Sara leads us in worship as we continue with our Lenten theme of ‘The rest is worship’. In Matthew’s gospel, we read the following words from Jesus: “And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.” (Matthew 6:7-8)
Prayer is not scored on the number or eloquence of the words we use. Simplifying our prayer life can be releasing. Some kinds of prayer invite us to put words aside entirely, simply to be in God’s presence. How might you simplify your prayers and deepen your prayer life?
Everyone is welcome to join us online or in the building at 11am.
