Today we celebrate Mothering Sunday and give thanks for Mothers, and we also continue with our theme of ‘The rest is worship’. We read in Psalm 46: “He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”
How do you feel about stillness and silence? What do you fear experiencing when noise and busyness are stripped away? How can we create space for stillness and silence, trusting that in those places we will meet with our loving, good God?
