Our congregation is made up of all sorts of people from Wooler and the surrounding area. We meet to worship God, to share fellowship, and to try to live as God’s people in the world. We are very involved in what’s happening in our own area, and we also support international charities such as Christian Aid, The Leprosy Mission and The Bible Society.
Fliss Barker is our Church Related Community Minister. Fliss took up her post in July 2022 and her role is to work with our congregation to help us serve the community where we live and worship. More general details about this particular ministry of the United Reformed Church can be found by clicking here.
Fliss would love to hear from you, so if would like to get in touch about an idea for community work, or just to say ‘hello’, click on the button below to send Fliss an email.
We have a team of elected Elders, who serve the church through decision-making, planning, organising, arranging and leading worship, serving Communion, and in lots of other ways.
