The Bible Study Group meets at 8pm every Monday (apart from holiday time) in various member’s homes. This small group offers a safe, trusting environment where anyone can come along to discuss different aspects of the Bible and what we feel God is saying to us through His word.
New members are always welcome – please inquire through our contact form.
We are delighted to have a small, informal music group/choir who help lead our worship each Sunday. They make an invaluable contribution to the life of the church – and have a lot of fun along the way as well! Singing anything from modern worship songs to something more traditional, they also have musicians playing piano, guitar, accordion and fiddle.
From time to time the choir joins with singers from other Churches to form an Ecumenical Choir for larger festivals and events either in this Church or elsewhere in Wooler and Glendale.
Everyone is most welcome at Choir Practice – 6.30pm every Thursday in the Church Room.
Every Saturday from 10 to 11am in the Glendale Hall may be found one of the most important social events of the week – the Wooler Coffee Morning! Run each week by a different charity, community group or good cause, the Coffee Mornings raise thousands of pounds each year. Entrance is only £1, there is usually a cake stall, raffle, tombola and unlimited coffee or tea – not to mention the opportunity of a good chat and a chance to catch up on local news. Everyone is very welcome.
This group supports adults with isolation, loneliness anxiety or depression.
It runs alongside Northern Spirit (a mental health group), The National Autistic Society and Wooler United Reformed Church.
We meet on the first and third Thursday of every month from 1.30 to 3.30pm in the URC Church Room.
There is no pressure to join in any of the activities and plenty of people just come along for tea and a chat.
