Wooler URC Livestream – Sunday 9 March 2025

This Sunday we begin our Lenten journey towards Easter. In our services each Sunday we will be looking at a phrase of what we call the Lord’s Prayer – that’s the prayer that Jesus gave his disciples in answer to their question “Lord, teach us to pray”.
It almost goes without saying that prayer is an essential part of our Christian discipleship, yet it something that nearly everyone finds difficult at some point in their lives. In 70 words, Jesus gives us a pattern for prayer that sustains us and guides us. It is a prayer to live, not just to say. Fliss starts us on our journey by looking at the opening words of the prayer: ‘Our Father, who art in heaven’. And it’s appropriate that in our service we’ll also be rejoicing with a father and mother as Matthew and Juliet bring Audrey Edith for baptism. Come and share the joy!
Everyone is welcome at Wooler URC.
