What are your hopes and dreams for the coming year? Is there a New Year’s resolution that you are determined to keep this time around? Perhaps there’s a change in your life that you would really, really like to make? When we meet on Sunday as God’s people, we are celebrating the fact that Jesus is risen, and He makes everything new. That’s a wonderful gift, and it’s good to celebrate that – but it doesn’t mean that everything always runs smoothly and that we live in harmony with each other and with God. So at the start of 2024, we’re taking a few Sundays to remind ourselves of some good Holy Habits that we can adopt – things that really do make a difference to our life of faith. We’ve taken three of the ten Holy Habits that are mentioned in Acts 2: 42-44 – why not look it up and see if you can identify all ten? Fliss is starting us off by looking at Luke’s description of the first followers of Jesus: “They devoted themselves to fellowship…” Everyone is welcome at Wooler URC.
