As we continue to look at Jesus through the lens of the Old Testament, we begin to realise (and perhaps this is stating the obvious), just how deeply Jesus knew and understood the Scriptures. It seems that Jesus needed his bible (the Old Testament) to discover His true identity and purpose, and His relationship with God.
Is the same true for us – of course with the addition of the New Testament?
