“Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” This verse and the neighbouring verses from 1 Corinthians chapter 10, will undoubtedly be very familiar to anyone who has attended a wedding! However it has much more to say to us than just some comfortable words heard at the celebration of the start of a couple’s new life together. As we approach Valentine’s Day, Fliss is celebrating the fact that “God is Love” in our worship service on Sunday, and will be unpacking the deeper meaning within Paul’s letter.
