On the first Sunday of every month from 7pm to 8.30pm, a group gathers in the back room of The Anchor Inn in Cheviot Street, courtesy of Geoff and Chris, the very hospitable landlords.
This is a safe space, a space where no questions are off-limits and nothing is a “silly question”. It’s a chance to explore what faith in Jesus means, and what being a Christian is all about in today’s world. Some people present have been Christians for decades, others perhaps consider themselves to be on the periphery of faith, and are trying to discover what it’s all about.
Wherever you stand, and whatever your background – you are welcome here. You can come and enquire, you can come and disagree, you can come and listen. It’s your choice and nobody will put you on the spot or make you feel uncomfortable.
