Lent has started and in our groups and worship services we will be preparing for Easter by using material from ‘Images of Grace’ by Amy Scott Robinson. This beautifully written book will help us unpack words that we often use in Lent and explore their meaning more deeply through visual images and pictures. Words such as ‘Forgiveness’, Reconciliation’ and ‘Restoration’.
On this, the first Sunday in Lent, we begin by looking at ‘Sin and Repentance’, and we’ll be looking at Psalm 51 as we consider David’s repentance before God after he is confronted by the prophet Nathan.
